Elon Musk’s former X product chief Nikita Bier is charging venture-backed founders $15,000 for a 30-minute consulting call

Nikita Bier, the former head of product at X who stepped down earlier this month, is now selling 30-minute consulting calls to venture-backed startup founders for $15,000 through the expert advice platform Intro, per Fortune.

The sessions are listed on Intro at $7,500 per 15 minutes, with a 30-minute minimum, making the effective floor $15,000 a call. Only venture-backed founders qualify to book time with Bier. Sessions can cover at least three questions spanning startups, growth, investing, virality, or how to raise capital, according to Fortune. The platform promises users will "find value in your first session or your money back." Bier and Intro did not respond to Fortune's request for comment.

Bier, 37, is a serial founder who has twice sold companies to major tech platforms. In 2017, Meta — then Facebook — acquired his anonymous teen polling app tbh for an undisclosed sum, reportedly around $30 million, per Fortune. He later built Gas, a similar anonymous compliment app, which Discord acquired in 2023. Both apps reached No. 1 on the App Store. After those exits, Bier joined Lightspeed Venture Partners as a product growth partner and launched Explode, a disappearing-messages mini-app built into Apple's Messages. He became X's head of product in 2025 — a role he had publicly asked Elon Musk for in a 2022 post — and claims he oversaw 30 new product launches during his tenure before stepping back from the position earlier this month, per TechCrunch. He still advises X.

Bier's time at X was not without controversy. The European Commission fined X in December under the Digital Services Act, citing the platform's blue check mark system as deceptive, among other allegations. Bier subsequently accused the Commission of violating X's ad rules and posted on X that its ad account had been terminated.

Intro, the platform hosting Bier's listing, was founded in 2020 by Raad Mobrem, who previously sold his startup Lettuce to Intuit. According to the company's website, Mobrem was inspired to build the platform during the pandemic while renovating his home, when he wished he could get quick video advice from a top interior designer. Beyond Bier, the platform also features Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian and Andreessen Horowitz partner Andrew Chen as advisors, per Fortune.

Bier's listing drew attention on X this week after users surfaced the pricing, according to Fortune. Whether the sessions represent a permanent consulting practice or a short-term arrangement while Bier determines his next move remains unclear — neither he nor Intro commented on their plans.
