Atomberg DRHP: A Look At Shareholding Pattern & Key Personnel
Atomberg filed a DRHP with SEBI for an IPO comprising a ₹450 Cr fresh issue and an OFS of up to 7.65 Cr shares, with four institutional investors set to dilute stakes.
Atomberg, the Indian consumer appliances brand, filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator SEBI for a proposed IPO comprising a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹450 Cr and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 7.65 Cr equity shares, per Inc42.
Institutional investors A91 Partners, Temasek Holdings, Inflexor Ventures, and Steadview Capital intend to dilute their stakes through the OFS. The company has a total of 69 shareholders to date. Cofounders Manoj Kumar Meena and Sibabrata Das are not selling any shares in the offering. The board also approved raising up to ₹90 Cr via a pre-IPO placement of equity shares, according to Inc42.
A91 Partners is the largest external shareholder, holding 21.02% via its holding entity A91 Emerging Fund I — it first backed Atomberg in 2019 as part of a $10 Mn Series A alongside Whiteboard Capital and Survam Partners. Meena and Das follow with 17.73% and 10.02% stakes, respectively. Temasek, via V-Sciences Investments, holds 11.8%; Jungle Ventures (JV4) holds 10.03%; Steadview Capital Mauritius and Jongsong Investments own 7% and 6.98%; and Inflexor Ventures, through two funds, holds a combined 6.08%.
Founded in 2012 by Meena and Das, Atomberg initially sold energy-efficient brushless direct current (BLDC) fans to businesses before entering the consumer market in 2016. It has since expanded into mixer grinders, water purifiers, and cold-pressed juicers, though fans remain its largest revenue category. The company sells through offline retailers, online marketplaces, and its own website.
On the financial side, Atomberg's operating revenue jumped 34.8% to ₹1,293.8 Cr in FY26 from ₹959.5 Cr in FY25, but its consolidated net loss widened 26.8% to ₹148.9 Cr from ₹117.4 Cr in the prior fiscal year, per Inc42.
Meena serves as managing director and chairman, having led the company as CEO for its first 14 years. Das, who co-founded the company and served as COO until 2025, is now CEO and executive director. The DRHP also names A91 Partners general partner Abhay Kumar Pandey as nominee director, and lists three independent directors: Anand Kantilal Vora (CFO of United Phosphorus Ltd), Suman Gopalan (managing partner at Rivendell Advisory and former Freshworks CHRO), and Subhasis Chaudhuri (professor at IIT Bombay and current BSE board chairperson).
The board approval for the public listing came roughly a week before the DRHP filing. No IPO timeline or price band has been disclosed in the filing details reported so far.
