Google's Pixel 11 starts at $899 and the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099 — the $200 gap buys a sharper screen, bigger camera sensors, and extra connectivity.

Google launched the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro with a $200 price gap — $899 versus $1,099 at the base 256GB tier — despite the two phones sharing the same chip, RAM, base storage, and software, per TechCabal.

Both phones carry a 6.3-inch OLED display, Google's new Tensor G6 chip with a Titan M3 security coprocessor, 12GB of RAM at the entry configuration, 256GB of base storage, Android 17, and seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates. Their dimensions are nearly identical: the Pixel 11 measures 152.8 × 72 × 8.6mm and weighs 197g, while the Pro comes in at 152.7 × 71.9 × 8.4mm and weighs 204g. Both carry Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IP68 rating.

The display is where the two phones diverge most visibly outside the camera. The standard Pixel 11 runs a 1080 × 2424 panel at 60–120Hz with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a pixel density of 422ppi. The Pro steps up to a 1280 × 2856 LTPO OLED that scales from 1Hz to 120Hz, reaches 3,600 nits peak, and lands at 495ppi. Google also rates the Pro with an extra scratch-resistant screen coating and a matte glass back, while the Pixel 11 uses a polished glass back with a satin aluminum frame. The Pro additionally gains Wi-Fi 7 and UWB, whereas the Pixel 11 tops out at Wi-Fi 6E, and adds HiLight — colored LEDs on the back for face-down notifications. RAM only increases to 16GB on the Pro at the 512GB and 1TB storage tiers; the base 256GB Pro still carries 12GB, the same as the Pixel 11 at all storage levels, according to TechCabal.

Camera hardware is the largest differentiator. The Pixel 11's main camera is a 48MP, 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/1.70 lens. The Pro uses a 50MP, larger 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/1.68 lens. The gap is wider on secondary lenses: the Pixel 11's ultrawide is 13MP at f/2.2 with no autofocus, while the Pro's ultrawide is 48MP at f/1.7 with autofocus. Both phones offer 5x optical zoom, but the Pixel 11 uses a 10.8MP telephoto sensor versus the Pro's 48MP unit. The front camera is 10.5MP on the Pixel 11 and 42MP on the Pro. Maximum digital zoom is 30x on the Pixel 11 and 120x on the Pro. The Pro also adds 8K video via Video Boost, Pro Controls, 50MP high-res capture, Instant Night Sight, Night Sight Video, and Pro Stable Video; the Pixel 11 caps at 4K60.

Battery capacity runs counter to the price order. The Pixel 11 carries a 4,985mAh cell — 135mAh more than the Pro's 4,850mAh — though Google rates both for more than 30 hours of use. The Pro's LTPO display scaling to 1Hz may offset its smaller battery in practice, but independent testing will be needed to confirm real-world longevity. Charging specs are identical on both: up to 55% in roughly 30 minutes with a 30W or higher USB-C charger, and Qi2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W.

The Pixel 11 Pro's storage tiers reach $1,219 for 512GB and $1,499 for 1TB. The Pixel 11's 512GB version costs $1,019 and stays at 12GB of RAM. UK pricing mirrors the US structure with a £200 gap, starting at £879 and £1,079 respectively. TechCabal notes that Google has not listed Nigeria, Kenya, or South Africa as official Google Store markets for the Pixel 11 series, meaning local prices in those countries will reflect import duties and retailer margins rather than direct conversions of US prices. Independent display, camera, and battery tests on retail units are still pending.
